Overview An indispensable part of technology is the measurement and control of industrial processes. Prepare to understand and operate instrumentation that monitors and directs these processes, including pressure, flow, temperature, level and material composition. Learn to use various forms of instrumentation such as electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and computerized control devices. Students design, install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair these control systems. Learn the basic laws of physical sciences and gain the mathematical expertise to apply those laws to practical situations. This program has credit transfer agreements with UW-Platteville, UW-Stout, Capella University, Franklin University, Silver Lake University and Upper Iowa University. The Instrumentation program is an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree and offered at MSTC's Wisconsin Rapids campus. |
